Touché is a fully integrated CRM for Stone Edge’s Order Manager.

The objective of the Touché roadmap is to help customers understand and plan where Touché is headed and what may be in store for future releases.  Though details are discussed and features are described, release dates for these features are subject to change.

Remember, this roadmap describes Touches’ general product direction & approximate timeline and should not be relied upon in making decisions which affect your business.  The future development, release and timing of features and functionality remain at our sole discretion and may change at any time without notice.

Touché's Premise:
• Identify customers through the use of business intelligence and data mining techniques.
• Target customers created from highly qualified and segmented lists
• Track customers through the use of interactions, promo codes, and other metrics
• Communicate with customers.

Touché's features will focus on the following:
• Seamless real time integration with SEOM.
• Data mining and business intelligence.
• Advance search and filtering for creating highly segmented and focused customer lists
• CSR & Help desk capabilities
• Inquiry Management.
• Centralized repository of email communications which can be shared with workgroup members.  No more MS Outlook to manage you emails!
• Data integrators for third party Broadcast E-mail providers like Bronto, MailChimp, Office Auto Pilot, etc. (Additional providers may be supported depending on feedback and demand from the user community).
• Data Integrators for other third party vendors like SalesForce.com (Depending on feedback and demand from the user community).

Touché's wish list:
• Auto Responders:  We are looking at incorporating auto responders for email inquiries.  For example:  a customer inquires about a tracking number for an order they placed.  With an auto responder defined for tracking numbers, the email system can look up the tracking number and respond automatically to the customer without any need for human intervention.
• Loyalty & Rewards program:  A way to keep track of customer loyalty and rewards.
• Prospect Management:  Non customer inquiries are a great source of prospects.  We’ll look at developing a way to incorporate prospects into Touché so you can easily manage this process.

Touché's approximate release schedule and time line:
• 07-22-2010:  The Public prototype will be released for both standard and enterprise customers.  Feedback will be solicited from the prototype to help drive Touches’ development, focus, and direction
• 08-31-2010:  Initial release of Touché.  Core customer functionality will be ready to use.  Data mining and business intelligence features are fully functional and ready to use.
• October 2010:  Email and Inquiry management functionality fully integrated and ready to use.
• December 2010:  Data integrator for Bronto.
• January 2011:  Data integrator for MailChimp.

Looks promising I will definitely want to give it a try on thursday.  I'm hiring new employees and need to nail down what CRM system i plan on using so that i can train them.  Also, how functional will the prototype be?

It will be as functional as the demo you saw last week.  You will be able to conduct all of the searchs and veiw all of the customer info.  The modules which require changes to your database will not be functional until the official release.

Do you have any tentative pricing plans you can share?

We have not officially set the pricing, but I can say this:  We plan on offering the single user standard edition for less than a 1 year subscription to SalesForce.com professional edition, the site license standard edition for less than 2 annual subscriptions to SalesForce.com professional edition, and the enterprise edition for less than 3 annual subscriptions to SalesForce.com professional edition.

Unlike SalesForce.com, the license for Touché will be a onetime expense with no reoccurring costs.

1 year of maintenance will be included at no extra charge.  We will be adding allot of new features and enhancements in the next year so we want to be sure everyone who purchases a license for Touché will get all of the new stuff at no extra charge.

Maintenance is optional and not required and solely at your discretion.

Any estimate on when this might happen?  I'm hoping it's sooner rather than later since Lead/Prospect management is a major component of any CRM system.

We are looking at CRM options to manage leads/prospects and I would definitely prefer a solution that integrates w/ StoneEdge.

Prospect Management will be available with the next release following the initial release of Touche (approximately 30 to 60 days afterward).

We initially thought we would put the prospects in with the customers and indicate them by type.  It became clear through our analysis that there are enough differences between the two so they should be in seperate modules.  You will be able to identify, target, track, and communicate with prospects much like you can with customers, however, many of the search filters available with customers relating to orders, payments, shipments, etc would not apply to prospects as well as some of the data pages now available with customers (prospects do not have orders, shipments, transactions, etc).

If you have some ideas about how you see prospect management working, start a new thread and let us know.  We can discuss prospect management in greater detail and get some others involved.

Thanks for your interest and comments.
